Vape High vs Cigaratte High: Exploring their Differences

Jan 26

There is much debate over the differences between a high from cannabis vaping and a high from marijuana. While some contend there is no difference, others are certain that the euphoria from smoking is greater. So which is it? Are individuals only disputing semantics or are there really distinctions between the two? We'll discuss the differences between cannabis vaping and smoking in this blog article to finally put an end to the argument.

Smoking Flower

We all like to smoke marijuana. The most conventional method to ingest it is to smoke it in a joint, bong, pipe, or blunt. It's a tried-and-true strategy that has been used for years. The cannabinoids in flower burn when you smoke it, then pass through your lungs and into your bloodstream. The euphoric or sedative sensation we get when we use marijuana is caused by this process.

Regarding the initial cost of equipment, smoking is a more affordable method of consumption than utilizing vape pens. Smoking is as simple as that.

Our valuable bloom is activated or devoured by combustion, which has drawbacks.

We should try to prevent combustion since it has harmful consequences on our health.

The Current Cannabis Vaping Trend

The increase in e-cigarette usage is mostly due to the legalization of cannabis for recreational use. Once it was possible to use cannabis without worrying about the consequences on their legal standing, people began finding new and inventive methods to do it.

During the vaping process, the cannabis are heated to a temperature just below combustion, releasing their active ingredients as vapor. The THC is then inhaled straight into the lungs, where it is instantly absorbed into circulation. Vaping has become immensely popular since it is regarded to be healthier than smoking, more practical, and less noticeable.

There's More to It Than Just Some THC

Other cannabis components, including CBD, began to gain attention in 2014 when recreational markets began to operate in Colorado and Washington. But THC still makes news, and every recreational market in the United States faces pressure to produce more THC.

However, users are starting to understand that flower with a greater THC concentration does not inevitably provide a superior high. The "Entourage Effect" theory has gained popularity recently. This expression describes a phenomenon wherein the many chemicals found in cannabis combine to produce effects that are larger than the sum of their separate effects.

In other words, the bud of a cannabis flower includes a variety of "entourage" substances, including terpenes, flavonoids, and other cannabinoids like CBD. These elements interact with THC to produce the renowned and appreciated flower high.

Are There Vapes That Have a Flower-like High?

Yes, there is excellent news to report. The bad news is that such items cannot yet be easily identified. Be mindful of your processor and the steps they take to extract your product at all times. Look for cannabis oil that has a variety of terpenes, flavonoids, and cannabinoids.

Advice for purchasing cannabis products throughout the spectrum:

  • If a strain has no CBD at all, its profile is extremely restricted. Pick for varieties with at least a trace level of CBD.
  • Search for the phrases "native terpenes," "cannabis terpenes," or "processed with bud" on the label.
  • A terpene content of between 5 and 20 percent is ideal.
  • Rare cannabinoids include CBG, CBC, CBN, and THCV. These suggest that a product is likely advantageous.
  • Look at the color. If it is evident, it is not even close to a product that resembles a plant. Any cannabis concentrate with the whole spectrum in it will have a more golden or amber color.
  • Cannabinoids should make up 50% to 70% of the typical product. If it's at least 75%, you're probably dealing with a distillate. A distillate is something that has been so meticulously cleansed that it no longer resembles a cannabis flower.
